    Default aol email

    I have a FC 4 box in which we are having sendmail problems sending email to aol.

    here's the sendmail force flush I did:

    Running /var/spool/mqueue/l3ACNtG7030463 (sequence 1 of 1)
    <XXX@aim.com>... Connecting to mailin-03.mx.aol.com. via esmtp...
    220-rly-ma10.mail.aol.com ESMTP mail_relay_in-ma10.4; Fri, 13 Apr 2007 11:55:03 -0400
    220-America Online (AOL) and its affiliated companies do not
    220- authorize the use of its proprietary computers and computer
    220- networks to accept, transmit, or distribute unsolicited bulk
    220- e-mail sent from the internet. Effective immediately: AOL
    220- may no longer accept connections from IP addresses which
    220 have no reverse-DNS (PTR record) assigned.
    >>> EHLO mydomain.org
    250-rly-ma10.mail.aol.com peer name unknown
    250 HELP
    >>> MAIL From:<apache@mydomain.org>
    250 OK
    >>> RCPT To:<XXX@aim.com>
    250 OK
    >>> DATA
    354 START MAIL INPUT, END WITH "." ON A LINE BY ITSELF
    >>> .
    421-: (DNS:NR) http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/421dnsnr.html
    421 SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE
    >>> QUIT
    221 SERVICE CLOSING CHANNEL

    We had FDC put our reverse zone in their name servers.

    One of the strange things I notice is that dns stuff reports we don't have any MX or mail servers setup in DNS, but we do have it setup with zoneedit.com!

    any ideas to track this problem down?
